Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs will miss Sunday’s match at Karolina due to ongoing knee problem. According to FOX Sports NFL Initiate Jay GlazerDiggs will not play this season and will undergo knee surgery.
On Saturday, Diggs was relegated to the game following an injury report. The Cowboys (5-8) also placed a linebacker DeMarvion overlooked in reserve/injured after he tore many ligaments in the right knee in the last match. What’s more, they play without a quarterback Dak Prescottguard Zack Martin and defensive end Sam Williams due to injury for the rest of the season while rushing DeMarcus Lawrence has been gone since then suffered a foot injury in week 4.
Diggs missed two games with groin and knee injuries before returning for Monday’s 27-20 loss to Cincinnatiwhen he had five tackles and three passes defended. He missed 15 games last year after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
The game against the Bengals was the only one of the season in which Diggs, a 2021 All-Pro, played with DaRon Bland2023 All-Pro after setting an NFL record with five interceptions for touchdowns. Bland missed the first 10 games with a foot injury.
