Owner Liverpool drew with Tottenham in the Carabao Cup semi-final, while Arsenal faced Newcastle.
Premier League leaders Liverpool, who have won the cup competition a record 10 times, will face Spurs at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the first game before returning to Anfield.
Arsenal will face Newcastle at the Emirates Stadium in the first match before the return leg at St James’ Park.
The draw also raises the tantalizing possibility of a north London derby appearing in the final of the competition.
Spurs and Arsenal have never faced each other in a major domestic final, but they did face each other four times in the League Cup semi-finals, in 1968, 1987, 2007 and 2008.
The first semi-final matches will be played in the week of January 6, 2025, with the second legs in the week of February 3.
The final will take place on March 16 at Wembley Stadium.
