One angry: “Gabriel Jesus second goal clearly offside. Crystal Palace robbed!”
But another argued: “He’s not. The defender above him keeps him onside.”

VAR was not used until the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup – as Arsenal advanced to the last four alongside Newcastle and Liverpool.
Jesus said: “I scored a lot of goals but sometimes I have this problem because of the lack of goals.
“I can create, I can assist, I can run and help the team defend.
“Everyone watches when I score, but when I don’t want their striker to score and I agree with him.
“So I’ve been working a lot in training, finishing more, putting myself in a better position to finish the action. I think my hard work has paid off.”
