Crystal Palace have a number of players out of contract next summer and up to eight could leave in January or at the end of the season.
Oliver Glasner’s side are unbeaten in their last five games, including draws with high-flying Manchester City and Aston Villa, and look to have finally turned a corner on form, with Ismaila Sarr even Entered the Premier League Team of the Week.
Eight players could leave Crystal Palace in 2025
If the Eagles continue to climb up the Premier League table, the club may well have the opportunity to retain those at risk of leaving.
Jeffrey Schlupp
The German is almost 32 years old and there is little chance of Crystal Palace extending the one-year contract he signed last summer.
If the price is right, Schlupp could be available as early as January.
Remi Matthews
The goalkeeper did not play for Crystal Palace at all in the 2024/25 season and made almost no first-team appearances during his time at Selhurst Park.
He has no future at the club and he should make money while he still can.
Tyrik Mitchell
Tyreek Mitchell’s contract expires at the end of the 2024/25 season (transfer market), Crystal Palace are yet to open talks to retain the 25-year-old, although he could start discussions with other clubs in January.

Trevor Chalobah
The Chelsea ace will remain at Selhurst Park until the summer as he joins on a season-long loan, however, there is no guarantee the Eagles will select the defender.
Much may depend on how the 25-year-old performs over the remainder of the season and whether the club are likely to cash in on a player like Marc Gueye.
Joel Ward
Oliver Glasner has used the 35-year-old sparingly this season, transfer market Note that he only made one appearance – in the League Cup. He has been on the bench in the Premier League but has not played in any games so far, so it is a foregone conclusion that he will leave when his contract expires.
Will Hughes
The player is believed to still be highly regarded by the club, however, there has been no discussion of future moves beyond his one-year contract extension, which expires in June 2025.
Nathaniel Klein
Despite his wealth of experience, at 33 years old, Klein is no longer the same player and with his contract expiring soon, only the most vocal Klein supporters will believe he is worthy of another contract .
Matt Turner
The second goalkeeper on this list, he is expected to return to Nottingham Forest at the end of his loan spell.
