Dylan: Losing Kyogo is such a big loss for Celtic. Under Brendan Rodgers, he has understandably not been at the same level as he was under Ange, but he is an important member of the team. His off-the-ball movement is Celtic’s best and he has an eye for goals, especially against Rangers. He is also a great person, so I wish him the best.
Steven: No way should we sell Kyogho, absolutely no way, a brilliant finisher with brilliant pace.
Gerry: Kyogo has developed legendary status in Glasgow and has terrified every Rangers player and manager. If he wants to go, we will never stand in his way but miss him as only Henrik Larsson thought.
Anon: I think they are making a big mistake selling Kyogo because he brings so much to the team and why move your top player? He will be missed.
Nathan: I think it’s a bad decision to leave Kyogo because he always scored important goals playing behind the defense.
Anon: Kyogo will leave a huge hole that no other current Celtic player will come close to filling. It’s not just his ability to score goals, it’s his movement – that alone isolates the opposition, leaving gaps to be exploited by teammates. They are worth more to him than any money.
Ian: It’s great to qualify for the CL playoffs. Bitter fruit though. Great to have Jota back but really sad to see Kyogo go. He was unique and will be extremely difficult to replace. It would have been nice to see him get the farewell he deserved this weekend.
Anon: Terrible decision to sell our main striker at this stage of the season when there are still so many games left. We could have waited until the end of the season.
Edward: Not sure if this is the right decision in the January window, no likes are readily available to replace likes and fees may rise in the summer.
