Manchester United say every first-team player is available for transfer if given the right price.
Reuben Amorim – he is currently ranked 11th on FourFourTwo magazine’s list of the world’s best managers – is still struggling to maintain some consistency at Old Trafford after taking over from Erik ten Hag in November.
Things haven’t gone well for the 39-year-old so far, with Marcus Rashford’s future turning upside down. The futures of Antony, Victor Lindelof, Altay Bayindir, Kobbi Mainoo and Casemiro were also discussed as high wages continue to cause huge problems at the club.
No Manchester United player is safe from an away transfer, according to new reports
According to Manchester Evening Newsnot a single player at the club is considered safe when it comes to his future.
Four players, including Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and Andre Onana, made up only players deemed not for sale United prepared for the transfer window at the end of last season, but that has now changed after a poor 2024/25 campaign.
FourFourTwo understands winger Amad is currently fulfilling media duties related to his new contract with the club, with which he will be bound until at least 2030.
However, players such as Jadon Sancho, Casemiro, Rashford, Antony, Lindelof and Luke Shaw could be sold this year if the right fee is received. Sancho is expected to join Chelsea on a permanent basis once his current loan deal expires.
“It doesn’t look good for Marcus’ future at the club, but also for Manchester United who will keep him,” Gary Neville recently told Sky Sports. “I suspect it gets to that point in the journey where it looks like it has an inevitable ending.”
Manchester United spent over £200 million on player transfers in the summer, with Lena Yoro and Noussair Mazraoui mainly impressing. For now, Joshua Zirkzee’s future at the club is also uncertain.
