Daniel Farke has revealed he will have money to spend in the January transfer window, if he needs to.
LeedsA 4-0 win over Oxford United on Saturday left them second in the Championship table, three points behind Sheffield United and one ahead of Burnley.
The Whites have two more games before the January window opens, traveling to Stoke City on Boxing Day before another away match against Derby County.
Leeds have lost just one of their last eight matches and Farke may feel he doesn’t need to strengthen his squad too much.
However, the margin for error in the Championship promotion race is razor thin, with just five points separating Sheffield United from first to fourth-placed Sunderland.
With that in mind, January is an opportunity for clubs to make some narrow concessions and if Farke wants to make any additions, he says he will be well supported by the club.

“Even when there is interest, we have calmed everything down. We are at such an important time, and we want all our players to focus on us right now. We want the whole squad to focus on these next five games,” Farke said (via Leeds all over)
“After January 4, it’s the FA Cup weekend and then we can talk about everything else if we do something in January. Until then, no decision will be made and we want to focus on winning as many games as possible.
“I don’t think we need to make any more money. We made more money than any club in Western Europe. It is important for us to be sustainable after some tough years in terms of spending. You have to follow the rules and there is a moment when you have to sell some players maybe after overspending. This was useful for long-term photography.
“We had to rebuild but overall, I think it was beneficial. We are now a healthy club and so there is no pressure to do anything. We can’t spend a fortune but there’s no need to do anything in terms of making more money.
