Baltimore Wide receiver waivers Deontay Johnson Friday after a brief and troubled stint with the team in which the Ravens said he refused to enter a game Philadelphia.
Johnson received a one-game suspension for last weekend’s win New York Giants. Baltimore then said it waived him from practice this week. On Friday, he was cut loose as he prepared for a big game against the Ravens Pittsburgh Saturday — Their receiving corps looks pretty thin.
Baltimore also activated defensive backs Desmond King and wide receiver Anthony Miller From the practice squad. The Ravens waived the receiver Nelson Agholor For playing due to an injury, and Rashad Bateman (pa) Suspicious.
Acquired from Baltimore Johnson Carolina Panthers in an October trade, but he caught just one pass in four games for the Ravens.
