Marco Silva revealed that Emile Smith Row For returns may be debated Fulhamof Premier League match against Chelsea On Boxing Day.

The 24-year-old was substituted in the second half of Fulham’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield on December 14 and subsequently failed to make the matchday squad for last Sunday’s goalless draw against Southampton at Craven Cottage due to injury.

Silva revealed that Smith Rowe, who has three goals and two assists in the Premier League this season, could return for the match against Chelsea on December 26 or at home to Bournemouth on December 29.

‘Let’s see if he’s going to be ready for Chelsea or Bournemouth,’ Silva said on Christmas Eve.

‘We really believe he will be back soon. Whether he stays at Chelsea or Bournemouth is up to us to decide.’

Fulham could be without Sander Berg and Sasa Lukic, who will be assessed ahead of their side’s trip to Stamford Bridge on Thursday.

‘We will continue to evaluate them,’ said Silva.

‘The games are coming thick and fast, it’s not a really long time to prepare and players to recover from one game to another.

‘It was a moment of the season that was difficult in terms of absences, players out, suspended players.

‘Of course, if you have all of them we are strong, it is not going to be an excuse for us.

‘But right now, it’s too early to be clear about the players, maybe, we have to continue to evaluate them and make a decision tomorrow.’
