Enzo Maresca Insisting that he continues to ‘believe’ Robert Sanchez Despite the goalkeeper’s mistake ChelseaIts a 3-1 defeat Manchester City Saturday
City stepped up shortly before half-time after Josco Guardiola went a goal behind.
The Premier League champions went ahead in the 8th minute after another error from Sanchez.
Chelsea keeper Tarling broke away from his goal to win a long ball past Haaland but, realizing he would lose the contest, trapped him inside his penalty area and Haaland lofted the ball over the Spaniard to score.
Phil Foden then broke clear to play in Haaland and ease finished beautifully in the 87th minute to give Seal City a 3-1 win.

Maresca is now facing fresh calls from Chelsea fans to bench Sanchez after his mistake but the Italian says the goalkeeper can still hold his place in the team.
‘Of course, he’s fully aware,’ Maresca said after Chelsea’s defeat at the Etihad Stadium.
‘After the game he was fully aware, he is fully aware. This is how it is at the moment.
‘Good thing he’s the first to know he needs to do better.’
Asked if he still trusted Sanchez, Maresca replied: ‘We definitely trust Robert.
‘But at the same time, as I said, the first person who is fully aware that he is making a mistake is Robert.
‘So of course we continue to believe in Robert, we believe in Robert but now we have a full week and we see the reaction and then we make a decision for the next game.’
