“Probably his maturity in the game, his knowledge of the game,” he added. “He’s got a different format they’re working in that he seems to like. He has a lot of big players, they have power behind them and they get the ball to him quickly.

“It seems to be something that is good for him and not vastly different to what we were trying to achieve at Burnley. But yeah, I think a lot of credit to him, credit to his professionalism at the top of his game. He had a quiet spell when he first went there and [there were] A few question marks over it.
