Honest assessment
Despite the late win, Man United’s boss Ruben Amorim was not satisfied with his team acting.
He saw the disappointment in his interview with ITV, where he said: “We had to believe in the end but this game had nothing to do with the time of Fergie.
“I think the performance, without the ball we need to do much better with the ball. In the beginning we had no power, especially in the first half.
“Then in the second half, we played a little better with a little more speed, won the second ball then we were able to turn things so that it was not a good result was a good performance.”
He further added: “The first responsibility of the coach, when a team does not perform, does not improve, it is the coach but we have come here to do things and watch the game, study the game and improve the game.
“I think it’s a small thing, if you sometimes control the ball, see the ball, don’t put the ball at first stress it is small thing, it’s big thing, it’s everything.
“It’s at this moment, it’s too far but at home, but we have to deal with it and we will try to do it in the next game.”
