The chairman of a top flight club has reacted to his team’s disappointing start to the season – by sacking every player as well as their coach.
Sloboda Tuzla are bottom of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Premier League with just two points from 17 matches.
With a worse record SouthamptonOf course, the newly promoted side have scored just five goals and are 12 points adrift of safety.
So club president Azmir Husik decided to send off coach Zlatan Nalik as well as the entire squad.
But he insists Sloboda can sign the players they need with 16 games remaining – despite financial problems with the club’s bank accounts blocked.
Husick said: “It was one of the hardest days of my life, because I had to tell the players that they were no longer part of the club.
“We have released the entire squad, and I have already met with coach Nalik to finalize our cooperation.
“So far seven players have signed termination contracts and I expect others to do so in the coming days.
“I’m sure we can put together a better team than the team that has only picked up two points so far.
“Even if we only recruit players from the Tuzla region or the Bosnian league.

“I think we need a new face, who will try to tackle everything.
