Glamorgan has dismissed head coach Grant Bradburn with immediate effect following allegations of inappropriate conduct.
Bradburn, who was appointed head coach in January 2024 on a three-year deal, was recently accused of misconduct by the independent cricket regulator.
The club referred Bradburn to an independent body after receiving allegations of inappropriate behavior and “are confident that a fair and transparent process was followed in this matter.”
Mark Rhydderch-Roberts, chief executive of Glamorgan Cricket, said: “At Glamorgan Cricket we put the wellbeing of our staff first and provide support to those affected.
“We are incredibly proud of our achievements in ensuring that everyone involved with the club feels respected, belongs and is treated fairly.”
Glamorgan Cricket claims to have a zero tolerance policy towards any type of discriminatory behavior.
Hamilton-born Bradburn was an off-spinner who played seven Test matches and 11 one-day internationals for New Zealand between 1990 and 2001.
Bradburn coached the Northern Districts and New Zealand Under-19s in his homeland before being appointed Scotland head coach in 2014.
He led Scotland to a historic first ODI win against England in 2017 and had a brief stint as Pakistan’s head coach in 2023 before joining Glamorgan on a three-year contract in January last year.
Bradburn led Glamorgan to One Day Cup success in September and a fifth place finish in the second division of the Vitality County Championship.
