Highest averages from Day Three of Final Stage of UK Q-School 2025 including Beau Greaves, Jim Long & Andy Boulton

The final stage of Great Britain Q School will take place in Milton Keynes from Thursday to Sunday. On the third day, victory was achieved Tavis Dudeney. The Englishman defeated Adam Paxton 6-4 in the final and won the PDC Tour Card for the next two years. However, the highest average of the day belonged to the Scot.

Greg Ritchie was 6-2 too strong for Charlie Manby in the last 32 overs, averaging 102.27. No one performed better on the third day of the final stage of the British Q-School. Ritchie was ultimately stuck in the semi-finals after a 6-5 loss to Dudeney. The Scotsman, however, has a particularly good standing in the Order of Merit. He is now second with eight points, with a top nine that ultimately earned him a PDC Tour Card.

The second highest average was for the name Andy Boulton. The Scot was 6-0 too strong for Kirk De Ruyter in the second round, averaging 101.33. Boutlton ultimately lost 6-5 Ted Evetts in the last 32. He is currently seventh in the Order of Merit with five points, so it will be an exciting final day for Boulton.

Canadian Jim Long is the only North American to reach the final stage of the British Q-School

The top three is completed by the only North American in the field, a Canadian Jim Long. He was too strong in the last 64 games, winning 6-2 against Karl Williams and averaging 101.01. Long ultimately lost 6-5 Darryl Pilgrim in the last 16th position. He currently ranks 23rd in the Order of Merit with two points.

Some of the more notable names at the top end of the Day 3 mid-list include: Beau Greaveswho averaged 98.80 in a thrilling 6-5 victory over Steve Hine, Mervyn King 98.48 and Darryl Pilgrim 99.77.

Today is the last match day of the final phase of the European Q-School. The winner of the day will receive a PDC Tour Card for the next two years. For many players, this is also their last chance to advance to the Order of Merit and still have a chance to earn a Tour Card.
