The Hockey India League announced the signing of Hero MotoCorp as title sponsor for the next three seasons, starting from the 2024-25 season, on Saturday.
The HIL tournament will start on December 28, with eight men’s teams taking part. Firstly, the Indian Women’s Hockey League has also been introduced, in which four teams will participate.
Speaking about the association, Dilip Tirkey, Chairman, HIL Management Committee, said, “Hero MotoCorp has always been a pioneer in supporting Indian sports and their association with the Hero Hockey India League will raise the profile of the tournament.”
This is the second association of the Hockey India League and Hero MotoCorp. The previous period lasted from 2013 to 2015.

We wish all the participating teams and players all the best,” said Sanjay Bhan, Executive Vice President, Hero MotoCorp.
