Fallon Sherrock was prematurely eliminated from the World Darts Championships after losing to Ryan Meikle in the first round.
The Palace Queen could not repeat her previous allied feats, but she once again made a valiant effort.
Sherrock won the first set, but quickly fell behind 2-1 before winning the fourth set to decide the match.
However, it ended in heartache for the 30-year-old who follows her partner Cameron Menzies she was eliminated in the first round.

The Milton Keynes native has once again written highly of herself and it’s hard to understand why she can’t secure a tour card.
Sherrock seems to be doing great on this important occasion, but perhaps Meikle was just a step too far for this artist.
After losing in the first round, the competitor went to X to express her best wishes to her opponent, who will face Luke Littler on Saturday evening!
She said: “It wasn’t supposed to be my night after all.
“Congratulations to Ryan. It’s just a pity that this shot didn’t hit the mark!
“I will be back in 2025 and looking for further success in the PDC Women’s Series and winning a Grand Slam and World Championship again.”
Sherrock must bottle stage form to earn a PDC tour card
It’s so strange that Sherrock is seemingly brilliant when it comes to acting on stage, but can’t do it on the dance floor.
Although she lost again in the Ally Pally last night, there is enough to suggest that if she competed at this level more often, she would compete.
Now the challenge comes to Q-School, where Sherrock will look to get onto the main tour by winning a two-year card.
There could be a lot of heart in defeat once again, and it will be fascinating to see if she can finally get over the line and compete in other tournaments throughout the year.
