Inter Kashgar beat Aizawl FC in seven-goal thriller

The match was a rollercoaster ride from one end to the other, with Inter Kashi beating Aizawl FC 4-3 at the Kalyani Stadium. Aizawl led 2-0 at the break but the home team staged a stunning comeback in the second half.

Inter Kashgar secured victory with goals from Bryce Miranda, Nikola Stojanovic and Edmund Lallindika as well as an own goal from Aizawl FC. Aizawl took an early lead with Augustine Lalrochana scoring first, followed by a brace from Lalrinzuala Lalbiaknia. The team was reduced to 10 men after Larbyakdika received a red card in the 90th minute.

In this game, Kashgar Inter Milan consolidated its third position in the I-League standings, level with the second-ranked Nandari team on points, but fell behind due to a poor head-to-head record.

Srinidhi Deccan and Shillong Rajon exchanged goals to draw

Srinidhi Deccan FC drew 5-5 with Shillong Rajon FC in the ninth round of the I-League at the Drum Arena in Hyderabad on Saturday.

Forward David Castaneda scored twice in the first half, while Rosenborg Gabriel and William Oliveira scored in the second half. Deccan Warriors’ equalizer came via an own goal from Reds player Aman Arawat.

The visitors started the game on a positive note, attacking from the start and taking the lead in the fourth minute through Douglas Tading. After falling behind, Deccan Warriors fought back and equalized in the 12th minute, with David Castaneda completing a timely cross from the left.

Srinidhi Deccan FC soon found themselves falling behind again, with Douglas Tadine restoring Real Kashmir’s lead in the 15th minute. However, Deccan Warriors responded immediately with David Castaneda scoring a brilliant goal from the kick-off. In the 21st minute, the visitors regained the advantage through Phrangki Buam. Despite Sreneedhi’s best efforts to equalize the score, the first half ended in a 2-3 win for Real Kashmir FC.

After the first hour of the game, head coach Rui Amorim introduced Ajayi and Rosenborg Gabriel, and Rosenborg made an immediate impact, heading in a cross from the left to equalize for Deccan Warriors. Real Kashmir followed closely and regained the lead, with Douglas Tading completing his hat-trick in the 77th minute to make the score 4-3.

Brazilian striker William Oliveira was brought on in the 79th minute and Srenidi struck back again. In the 82nd minute, Oliveira took the penalty kick calmly and tied the score at 4-4. In stoppage time, Shillong Rush FC regained the lead in the 91st minute through Grady Habri. However, Sreneedy Deccan FC showed incredible resilience and equalized through Aman Arawat’s own goal in the 97th minute to end the thrilling match 5-5.
