I think it’s a bit of nonsense

On Monday evening we saw it Gerwyn’s price past years in PDC World Darts Championships. Not directly in terms of form, but certainly in terms of the characteristic roars during celebration. In his first match of the tournament, the former world champion won in sets 3-0 with relative ease Keane Barrywhich means he had plenty of reasons to roar.

While some people liked Price’s return to a more vocal lifestyle, Raymond van Barneveld I looked at it in disbelief. The 57-year-old Dutch darting icon worked as a Viaplay analyst on Monday. “I think it’s nonsense to go completely crazy three times on one leg,” Van Barneveld said. “I also think it’s a bit ‘not done’ and much exaggerated. He throws a double one in 27 arrows and then you lose your mind.”

Dirk van Duijvenbodewho was also a guest on the program, then commented on his compatriot’s statements. “That’s nice, huh. Right now he says: ‘Some people think it’s very exaggerated’ and a minute later: I think it’s very exaggerated,” Van Duijvenbode laughed.

The subject of Barry’s many failed doubles was also touched upon. “It’s impossible,” thought Van Duijvenbode. “Who just wanted to win a set or as many legs as possible. You just saw it. He stood there like a lost sheep,” concluded Aubergenius.
