The second day of the final stage in Great Britain Q School 2025, Justin Hood secured his PDC Tour Card for the next two years. The 31-year-old Englishman defeated his compatriot Bradley Brooks He won the final with a score of 6-5 and secured a place in the Pro Tour for the first time in his career.
Hood, who has been a regular in the Modus Super Series in recent years, later spoke to PDC’s Dan Dawson. “I feel great! It was a hard day, a lot of 6-5s. I didn’t play great today, but I did enough to get the wins, so I’m delighted,” said “Happy Feet” with a smile. “I’m good at making decisions in recent games. Win or you’re out.”
As mentioned, this is Hood’s first time in his career to earn a PDC Tour Card. “To be honest, it means a lot to me. I’m a lazy player. I could have done it three or four years ago if I had played more, but I’d rather just not go out. But now I’m going to put everything into it and become world champion in three years!” Hood says firmly.
By the way, Hood had a very special dream after winning the Tour Card. “I want to make enough money to buy a Chinese restaurant!” he smiles.
By the way, the British Q-School continues today with the third day of the final stage. The PDC Tour Card is once again up for grabs for the winner of the day, while other players can make a good deal by winning the Order of Merit. After all, on Sunday evening, when the last day of Q-School ends, PDC Tour Cards are still waiting for the top 9 British Q-School Orders of Merit.
