Luke Littler cemented his name in darting folklore by becoming the youngest ever world darts champion.
Łukasz Małyr he fell over Michael van Gerwen record, defeating Mighty Mike in the final at Alexandra Palace.
It’s a record that will likely never be broken and one that US Open champion Emma Raducanu can compare with her own triumph.

Emma Raducanu wants to meet Luke Littler
In 2021, Raducanu became the first Open Era qualifier to win a Grand Slam singles title at the age of 17, and she knows a thing or two about the pressures of entering the sport at such a young age.
The 22-year-old praised The Nuke for his dramatic climb to the top in darts and called to meet the teenager.
Speaking to the media ahead of the Australian Open, the British tennis star said: “Incredible respect for him.”
When asked if she would like to meet The Nuke, she replied: “Great moment. I would love to meet the best athletes and people who have achieved success in their fields.
“I think darts is such a precise sport that I would love to hear his opinion on it. [how to] stay focused because you may be so close but not necessarily get the last shot. It’s quite similar to tennis in that sense.
Raducanu is currently ranked 56th in the world after returning from injury in November. Meanwhile, Littler is preparing to defend his Bahrain Darts Masters title on January 16.
Luke Littler confirmed for Dutch Darts Masters
Littler will be looking to continue his World Darts Championship streak with two Masters tournaments in January.
Following his stay in Bahrain, The Nuke has been confirmed for the Dutch Darts Masters in ‘s-Hertogenbosch on January 24 and 25.
Last year’s event was won by the Dutchman van Gerwen, with whom he will compete once again Luke HumphriesDanny Noppert and Gian Van Veen.
