Adrian Lewis has responded to Barry Hearn’s claims that a return to the PDC Tour will not be easy.
Jackpot has been off the PDC Tour since April 2023 for personal reasons, but has announced a return to darts in the MODUS Super Series in 2025.
Fans had been clamoring for the return of the two-time world darts champion, but PDC boss Barry Hearn told him he would have to get his PDC Tour Card again like any other player.
I’m talking to SunHearn said: “Does he have to go through Q School? Yes. We would welcome him back with open arms.
“He had his own personal problems. Something he has to come to terms with. But these are not our problems, these are his problems and it is up to him to solve them.
Adrian Lewis took to social media to share his response to Hearn’s blunt statement.

Adrian Lewis doesn’t want any hands
Lewis is known for speaking straight and responded in his characteristic style ahead of the third World Darts Championships, which he is expected to miss.
In response to Barry Hearn’s rejection on X, Jackpot wrote: “I would never want any handouts and would never ask for them.
“I took a 21-month break from PDC racing for personal reasons, so I will not compete at this year’s World Championships.”
Lewis did not confirm whether he would be attending Q-School in the New Year, but Jackpot returned to the exhibition circuit with the likes of Raymond van Barneveld and Phil Taylor.
Adrian Lewis delights fans at the show
Lewis’ appearance at the show made headlines recently, but not for the reasons you might expect from a daring legend.
The 39-year-old impressed with his comeback victory over van Barneveld, but it was his singing voice that amazed fans.
Lewis performed an on-stage rendition of Stoke-On-Trent native Robbie Williams’ song Angels, which was captured on camera by MDA Events.
If Jackpot doesn’t return to the game in the New Year, it looks like he could have a very different career for himself!
