Stephen Bunting he has been in excellent shape in recent months. He proved it again this week at the 2025 competition Bahrain Dart Masters. In the opening tournament World series Darts 2025, defeated Gerwyn Price 8-4 in the final.
Bunting made a particular impression in Bahrain. On his way to the final, he shot an average of 111.33 in a 6-0 quarterfinal victory over Chris Dobey, which was a record in the Bahrain Darts Masters at the time. However, later in the evening Price broke the situation again, who performed even better, winning 6-2 in the quarterfinals against Łukasz Małyr with an average of 115.31.
At the recent PDC World Darts Championships, Bunting reached the semi-finals (where he lost 6-1 to Luke Littler). Bunting also performed well on the Pro Tour last year, reaching the finals of the Players Championship no less than six times.

In fact, Bunting has won 39 of his last 51 matches in official PDC tournaments; only Littler did better. Thanks to his strong performance, Bunting moved up to fifth place in the world rankings. The crowd favorite was also selected for the 2025 Premier League Darts match.
Bunting will be back in action next weekend. Finally, the second tournament World Darts Series will take place in 2025.
Bunting has won 39 of their last 51 matches across all PDC events. Going back to October 1, this is the second best result behind Luke Littler.
