ISL 2024-25: Chennaiyin FC’s Elsinho regains consciousness after head injury against Hyderabad FC

Chennaiyin FC confirmed midfielder Elshini during their 1-0 win over Hyderabad FC in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Wednesday. Ao suffered a head injury and has now regained consciousness.

Two players remained on the ground as other players and the referee waved desperately to medical staff. After initial treatment, an ambulance was immediately called and Elsinho was transferred to a car wearing a neck brace.

Elsinho joined CFC in June and has played in all 12 league games so far. He was part of Jamshedpur FC last season and played 25 games for them.

Elcinho started his career in 2014 at Navela Sports Club. Elsinho spent most of his career with the Mexican club Juarez, making 136 appearances for the team from 2017 to 2019.
