Łukasz Małyr he certainly went through a rollercoaster of emotions when it came to his first appearance in the league PDC World Darts Championships where he dismissed Ryan Meikle.
He again missed nine darts for a double 12, and his final set average was 141, a new record. But in the end it all fell to him. A video went viral of him crying as he left the stage and hugged his family, and he said it was a bit too much.

“It was probably the hardest game I’ve ever played, but you’ve got to push the envelope,” said an emotional Littler.
I don’t know where I got that last set from, but I just had to fight until the end.
“When I got on that stage, I felt really nervous, but I managed to find my game from somewhere.
“I know I’m the favorite but you have to focus on winning your first match and that’s what I did today.”
“I did everything I could this year. It was really good, but winning the title of Young Sports Personality of the Year is a big achievement for me.”
He talked about his emotional moment and said he didn’t expect it and that it all became a bit too much. “I drank some water, told Abi (Davies) I was fine, and then as soon as there were questions, tears of emotion, I asked, ‘What are you doing? The fans were really good back then, but it was a bit too much.” to then try speaking on stage.

However, it was a tournament that Littler watched closely, and “The Nuke” watched almost every session and would continue to do so.
“I watched almost every session. I missed the session where Ryan played with Fallon because I was on Sports Personality. But I saw the score and I knew I was playing with Fallon. Other than that it was training, watch the darts and see who I am playing.”
However, he saw Christian Kist hit the finish line with nine darts, and the fact that he was within a whisker of the record certainly made him regretful.
“It’s definitely getting frustrating. As soon as you switch to triple 19, your eyes light up. I heard the camera pan to the winner (money), so I’m sorry, whoever you are. try again.”
But he also said that while he could be considered the best player in the world, it was not a title he would like to hand himself.
“You could probably say that, but I’m just me, I’ll never say I’m this and I’ll win it all. I can just see where my darts are landing.”
