Nathan Aspinall is a hot topic in the world of darting lately, and his choice in Premier League Darts is under scrutiny, even by other professionals. “I’m really happy to be back in Bahrain,” Aspinall tells PDC ahead of the 2025 championships. World series dart opener. “It would be amazing to win – it’s been a long time since I won a World Series event, but I’m having a pretty tough first game, so we’ll see what happens.”

In the first round, Aspinall will face the Chinese PDC champion Xiaochen Zongwith a clash with world number one and former world champion Luke Humphries potentially lying in wait for the winner of the quarter-finals.
