Sakhir is currently the host Bahrain Dart Mastersopening tournament of the 2025 World Series of Darts. Gerwyn’s price he has already made an excellent start in this tournament. The Iceman defeated Lok Yin Lee 6-3 in his first match and will now face Luke Littler. Price played against Lee with new arrows, but will still revert to his old arrows against Littler;
Price didn’t have the best 2024 and was left without a major title. The 39-year-old lost 5-3 to Chris Dobey in the quarterfinals of the last World Darts Championship. There was therefore criticism that Price was still invited to the Premier League Darts, unlike major winners in 2024 such as Mike De Decker and Ritchie Edhouse. However, Price wants to prove his critics wrong and that’s why he wants to return to his best form this year. The 39-year-old Welshman did just that in his first official match of the new year with new darts.
In his first match with Lok Yin, Lee faced an opponent not to be taken lightly. The Hong Kong competitor was 3:1 too strong for Dutchman Chris Landman in the first round of the last World Darts Championship. A round later, Lee lost 3-0 to Brendan Dolan. So he couldn’t wait to see what he could do against Price.

So Price was cautious despite experimenting with new material. “I tried different flights and longer points today and stuck it out until the end, but I’ll be back to normal tomorrow,” Price said.
I tried something different and it didn’t work, but I won – I’ve always stuck to the same set from day one and I think if you want to try and find that extra 5-10% you have to change things up.”
In the quarter-finals, Gerwyn Price faced Luke Littler
Smaller
Price will face Luke Littler in the quarterfinals, who was too strong for Lourence Ilagan 6-3 in the first match.
“I’ll go back to what I know best and be confident in darts, but I think all the pressure is on Luke; he is world champion and number two in the world.
“He was probably expected to win, but I’m here to upset the party!”
The winner of Price and Littler will then face the winner of Paolo Nebrida and Peter Wright in the semi-finals.
