But despite his past heroics, the playmaker is regularly jeered by the home fans throughout today’s game.

And he was booed even louder by the Brummie crowd at the final whistle.

However, Grealish could not take his bluster.
Instead, he flashed three fingers at angry supporters in response.
It appears to be a reference to the three Premier League titles he has won with City since joining them from Villa in 2021 in a £100million deal.
Grealish made 142 appearances for City and helped them to the treble in 2023.
But his form has nosedived this season, with teammates also struggling to impress.
City have lost six times in the league this season – already more than Grealish had in any previous campaign since joining them.
They are nine points behind Liverpool, who still have two games in hand.
Although Chelsea can go 10 points clear if they beat Everton in tomorrow’s early kick-off.
