Ruud van Nistelrooy Revealed that Jamie is an injury doubt for Vardy Leicester Cityof Premier League match against Liverpool On Boxing Day.
Vardy, who has scored six Premier League goals this season, played the full 90 minutes of Leicester’s 3-0 defeat at Wolves on Sunday.
However, the 37-year-old is now likely to miss Leicester’s visit to Liverpool on Thursday, with Van Nistelrooy claiming the striker will be closely monitored over the next 48 hours.
‘We have to address Jamie,’ Van Nistelrooy said on Christmas Eve.
‘He’s picked up a few knocks, we’ve got to address him today and tomorrow, see if he’s ready for Thursday.
‘I don’t want to share players’ personal medical updates but we have to sort it out.
‘Hopefully it will be fixed, if not, it will be a short-term problem.’

Van Nistelrooy also revealed that goalkeeper Mads Hermansen is unlikely to return for the game against Liverpool.
Hermansen was forced off at half-time in the 4–0 defeat to Newcastle United on 14 December and subsequently missed Sunday’s loss to Wolves after starting Danny Ward’s goal.
‘It’s about his development and how he improves every day,’ Van Nistelrooy said.
‘He is improving every day. We want to get him fit but of course, you can’t rush these things. We will see when he is 100 per cent fit for the team and I am confident it will be in the short term, but I don’t know when.
‘We’re obviously evaluating him every day. jack [Stolarczyk] Which is back and playing for the Under-21s, got his first game under his belt, and we’ll decide in the coming days.’
