Ruud van Nistelrooy Jamie Vardy is expected to return from injury Leicester Cityof Premier League match against Manchester City sunday
Vardy, who has scored six Premier League goals this season, Missed Leicester’s 3-1 defeat to Liverpool on Boxing Day due to knock-down.
Van Nistelrooy was also without centre-back Wout Fess and first-choice goalkeeper Mads Hermansen for his side’s loss to the Premier League leaders.
“Jamie Vardy is one of them, Woute Fuss is one of them, he is doubtful,” Van Nistelrooy said.
‘Jamie has a good chance, hopefully he can do it.
‘And [Mads] Hermansen, as I said before, will need a little more time to recover.’
The defeat at Anfield dropped Leicester to 18th and 17th in the Premier League, a point behind Wolves, who beat both the Foxes and Manchester United under new manager Vitor Pereira.
