Jordan Spieth returned to the competition after a long postoperative release last week AT & t Pebble Beach Pro-AM. It is understandable that Texas was a bit rusty – he finished the draw at 69 and took the 70th place in the strokes won: putting, losing 3,743 to the medium field.
So, though as surprising as to see that Spieth submitted his famous Scotty Cameron 009 prototype flat flat, during WM Phoenix Open, does not shock that the three -time main master would look for a response to the greenery.
We noticed Spieth’s exercises with the old Putter TP Mills before the tournament, but we were not able to confirm whether he introduced the wand. However, as you can see in the first television round, Spieth made a change-at least temporarily.
It was not for the first time that he flirted with other flat points (AT & T Byron Nelson 2017 comes to mind), but seeing how emerging from his home cache was not on our bingo card of collective golf equipment from Collective 2025.

According to our Andrew Tursky, Putter has a slightly lower attic than his longtime player (2.5-3 degrees compared to 4-Iish).
Talking to the media after his round, Spieth pointed out that he was discovering a few putters trying to “break a little as he sits on the ground”, paying attention to “sketch at the bottom of Putter.” Spieth mentioned that he was looking for something that suited his eye from the point of view of equalization to the address and seemed to indicate that he was looking for something that would give him a smooth tilting of his face.
Jonathan Wall with Golf Digest talked to David Mills, who is currently supervising the business he founded, his father, said Spieth began to test TP Mills Trade II during the rehabilitation of the wrist and followed its stability. Spieth confirmed this after his round, indicating that he was experimenting with many putters in the basement during rehabilitation in search of the one who helps him “best hit”.
TP Mills was founded in 1963 by Truett P. Mills Sr. And since then he has been producing high -class Putters, calling the Playable Works of Art.
Last note: it may not be a pitcher in Jordan Spieth’s bag because he said that “he can use several options this week.”
We will continue to provide more information (and photos) when it becomes available.
