Mario Hezonja
In 2012 and at the age of 17, Hezonja joined Barcelona, which became his team until 2015 when he jumped to the NBA (Orlando Magic). He spent five seasons in the North American League between the Magic, Knicks and Blazers. Transferred to the Grizzlies, Memphis wouldn’t have him and decided to return to Europe, where he committed to Panathinaikos. That summer, in 2021, Barça could claim his rights, but they didn’t and the Croatian ended up in Unix Kazan. He left the Russian team after the invasion of Ukraine and signed for Real Madrid in 2022. In 2024, before the end of his second season with the white team, he negotiated with Barca, but eventually stayed in the Spanish capital.
