Chelsea agreed on the day of the Super Women League day to sign England’s midfielder Keira Walsh from Barcelona.
Negotiations were completed on Thursday morning, and a fee of approximately 400,000 pounds agreed. Walsh will have medical in London and it is expected that the contract will be concluded before 23:00.
The Walsh’s Barcelona agreement ends in the summer and wanted to return to WSL.
The 27-year-old joined Barcelona from Manchester City in 2022 for a global fee of 400,000 pounds.

Walsh has 80 hats for his country and was a key part of the team that won the Euro in 2022 and reached the World Cup final in 2023. She won the league titles of the 1st Champions League with Barcelona after he helped Man City in the WSL title in 2016.
