Cullen entered the match as an underdog despite being the unseeded player in the tie, but he performed impressively against Nijman.
After his victory, Cullen spoke to Sky cameras on stage and gave monosyllabic answers in an awkward interview, with fans labeling The Rockstar as “rude”.

Cullen had every reason to celebrate after his spectacular victory, but he showed no signs of happiness despite starting a third-round clash with Gerwyn Price after Christmas.
Cullen responded with one word and clearly looked displeased, and fans were not pleased with the interview.

Cullen vs. Price was placed in the third section of the World Darts Championship draw, alongside the likes of Florian Hempel, Josh RockAND Jonny Clayton.
