Liverpool Head coach Arne Slott said there were “continuous discussions” with the club Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dyck And Trent Alexander-Arnold Uncertainty continues over the trio’s long-term future.
All three players are out of contract at the end of the season and can therefore start negotiations with foreign clubs from January 1.
Slott has remained tight-lipped on the matter for the most part but has now insisted he is not concerned about the contract stalemate, with his side currently seven points clear at the top. Premier League Table with a game in hand.
Asked if there was an update on the talks ahead of the clash with Liverpool, Slott said: “If we did then maybe now is not the time to tell you.” West Ham.
“Normally, I don’t talk about contract situations here. It would be a surprise if I could announce that one of them has extended.
“It is clear that from January 1, maybe for you, things will change a lot but they are constantly discussing with the club and let’s wait and see what happens. As long as they continue to perform like this, the head coach is happy.”

“They won’t come back West Ham United“said the Liverpool boss. “Then there’s a week to go [West Ham and the Manchester United game].
“Let’s see how close they are then. It’s hard to tell you at this point because they haven’t trained with the team yet. Hopefully, they’ll get closer to that situation in the coming days.
“But again, Ibu could be out for five or six weeks, Conor is just as long and they are competing with players who are fully fit and doing really well so I have to make the right decision the moment they come back.”
