
Liverpool Still waiting for them Premier League match against Leicester City To go ahead on Boxing Day despite thick fog Merseyside.
Arne Slott’s side host the Foxes at Anfield for the Premier League kick-off at 8pm on Boxing Day.
However, there have been concerns about visibility inside the stadium due to dense fog in the area.
Reports of a 4pm pitch inspection at Anfield have been dismissed, however, with Liverpool urging fans traveling to the stadium to allow extra time on their journeys.
A statement from LiverpoolIts supporter services read: ‘If you are coming to the match today, please ensure you leave earlier than usual due to foggy conditions around Anfield Stadium. Please take care while travelling.’



Earlier on Boxing Day, Rovers’ League Two match at Tranmere against Accrington Stanley was postponed due to foggy weather on Merseyside.
The match at Prenton Park was scheduled to start at 3pm but was called off just after 2pm.
