“I’ve been at the club for 20 years and I’ve signed four or five contract extensions but none of them have been fulfilled publicly – and they won’t be this time either.” Alexander-Arnold told Sky Sports News.
The Liverpool star is enjoying life under Arne Slott and has been particularly impressed by the detail of the Dutch manager’s job.
Slott’s outstanding performances have translated into Liverpool’s form this season, with them leading both the Premier League and Champions League table.
“His level of detail…I find myself smiling about it because that’s something I really enjoy,” Alexander-Arnold said.
“That’s football, on a very, very deep level.
“I knew from the first time I met him that I was going to love playing under him and being a part of it. I felt like I was going to get better, improve, learn a lot in such a short period of time, and “Keep learning because I can tell he’s obsessed with football and the level of detail is incredible.”
