Liverpool’s Diogo Jota scored a last-gasp equalizer to salvage a breathtaking 2-2 Premier League draw with the 10-man Reds at Anfield on Saturday, with Arne Slot’s men twice coming from behind.
Liverpool remained at the top of the table with 36 points and a game in hand after last weekend’s game against Everton was postponed.
Andreas Pereira put Fulham on the scoresheet in the 11th minute with an acrobatic volley from Antonee Robinson’s cross that deflected off Andy Robertson’s thigh and past goalkeeper Alisson.

Six minutes later, Robertson was shown a straight red card for a diving tackle on Harry Wilson, denying him an obvious scoring chance.
Cody Gakpo equalized in the 47th minute when he headed in a spectacular cross from Mohamed Salah from close range. However, Rodrigo Muniz put Fulham ahead again in the 76th minute when he met Robinson’s cross after colliding with Alisson.
Liverpool continued to press and Jota brilliantly slotted past Bernd Leno in the 86th minute as the Reds narrowly avoided boss Slot’s second defeat in 23 games in all competitions.
