Since the pace of golf’s fun shows no signs of distraction, LPGA decided to introduce a serious penalty for 2025 to help treat the problem.

If the player lasts up to 5 seconds too long, he will receive a fine, while players who occupy 6 to 15 seconds too much will receive a penalty. Those who take over 15 seconds too long, two strokes will be done.
In addition, LPGA announced that the first player who hit the 4S and Par 5S Pari Pari will not receive an additional 10 seconds (except for the achievements of Par 4S). However, the first one, who hit Pai 3, is approaching shots, and Putts will still receive an additional 10 seconds.
LPGA wrote:
“According to the previous policy in 2024, 22 athletes received a fine, and nine received a two -stroke penalty.
“If this new policy existed last season, 23 players would have been punished for a one -person one, and eight would receive a double -sided penalty.
“We think that this is a significant step in solving this challenge and will continue to assess additional solutions if necessary. Having said, our intention in these corrections is to improve the pace of the game – not imposing a penalty and fines. “
