Luka Dončić recorded his 80th career triple-double with 45 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds, a season-high Dallas Mavericks defeat Klay Thompson ex Golden State Warriors 143-133 on Sunday night in their second visit to Chase Center in just over a month.
Thompson made two late three-pointers for a total of seven points and finished with 29 points in the Mavericks’ 120-117 loss in his emotional return on November 12.
His former brother Splash Stephen Curry scored 26 points and 10 assists for Golden State in a game added to the schedule after teams were eliminated from the NBA Cup. The Warriors lost to Houston by one point on Wednesday.
Dallas opened 14 of 19 games to take an early lead, 39-18 Draymond Green he scored another three points. Green had season highs of five three-pointers and 21 points.
