Luke Humphries new Dazzler champion after wins over two former Lakeside champions

The seventeenth edition of the Dazzler show tournament ended in triumph Luke Humphries. “Cool Hand” on his way to the title in Leeds defeated, among others, two former Lakeside champions.

In addition to Bunting, Mark Webster, Devon Petersen, Adrian Lewis, Stephen BuntingRicky Evans and Joe Cullen were also present. The squad was complemented by talented player Jacob Gwynne, who took part in the Challenge Tour in 2024.

Gwynne faced Humphries in the quarter-finals and managed to beat the world leader by two games. The victory went to Humphries 4-2. Webster beat Petersen 4-2 and Bunting beat Lewis 4-1 with an average of 104.15. Evans became the final semifinalist after a 4-2 victory over Cullen.

Humphries then won 4-1 against former Lakeside champion Webster in the semi-finals, with Bunting prevailing over Evans. In the final, Humphries defeated Bunting 4-3.

Many of the world’s top players play exhibitions during this period. Not primarily for a nice extra pocket money, but also to maintain the match rhythm before the PDC World Championships.
