PDC has published a new alternative world ranking. This only applies to the last 200 matches played by each Tour Card holder.
He still ranks second in the official world rankings, but in the alternative world rankings, first place belongs to the new world champion Łukasz Małyr. “The Nuke” averaged 102.18 in the last 200 matches played, making him the only player with an average of 100+. Littler also scored 46.36% in doubles, where no one did better.
Gary Anderson can be found in second place. The “Flying Scotsman” was eliminated straight away, partly due to injury, at the last World Darts Championships, but continues to post high averages. In the last 200 matches played, his average doubles results are 99.07 and 38.64%. Anderson is currently ranked 14th in the official world rankings.
They complete the top three Luke Humphries. The 29-year-old Englishman failed to extend his world title at the last Darts World Championships, but he is still doing well. The number one in the official world rankings has averaged 98.41 and 41.45% in doubles over the last 200 matches played.
Michael van Gerwen, Wessel Nijman and Gian van Veen are also in the top ten. Van Gerwen is first in fourth place, averaging 98.37 and 42.84% in doubles over the last 200 matches played. Nijman is in sixth place with an average of 97.97 and 39.08% in doubles. Finally, Van Veen is ninth with an average of 97.23 and 44.28% in doubles. On the official world ranking list, Van Gerwen is in third place, Van Veen in 27th place and Nijman in 55th place.
