Manchester United and Amad Diallo’s representatives are reportedly in “advanced talks” over a new contract.

The move raised some eyebrows as the winger only made five first-team appearances for Atalanta before joining United, but he has proven to be a great signing.
After loan spells at Rangers and Sunderland, Amad broke into the Manchester United first team before the 2023/24 season and became a key player for the Premier League giants.
The Ivory Coast international was one of United’s standout performers during the latter stages of Erik ten Hag’s reign at Old Trafford and has also impressed under new manager Rúben Amorim impression.
The 22-year-old plays as a full-back and No. 10 under Amorim and has been arguably United’s best player this season. He has made 14 appearances in the Premier League this season, scoring 2 goals and providing 6 assists.

Amad was praised for almost single-handedly turning the tide of the Manchester derby on its head as United won 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium last weekend.
The talented youngster is reportedly set to be offered a new contract soon ESPN.
Amad’s current contract expires at the end of the season, but United have the option to extend his contract until 2026 on the same terms.

The two sides have been in talks for weeks to try to reach a long-term deal, and sources told ESPN that talks are ongoing with only a few details remaining.
The source added that United aim to formally renew the contract before the end of 2024.
The 22-year-old made headlines at the weekend when he scored the winning goal to help his side beat Manchester City.
