Not long into the January transfer window, Manchester United were able to move for Marcus Rashford and with news the player turned down an eye-watering £35m-a-year salary, it would be a welcome move for Rashford. Ben’s new hierarchy combats Amorim and Red Devils.
It’s clear the 27-year-old isn’t wanted by his new manager and it showed when he was left out of multiple matchday squads.
Manchester United are closing in on a £225,000 p/w move to replace the England international who has broken silence on being dropped.
Marcus Rashford rejects Saudi switch

Fascinating sources understand the club’s inherent need to get Rashford off the books is that they are in danger of having points deducted due to the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules and want the player’s reported £300,000 salary (Cofology) erase the books.
So while transfer is somewhat necessary, at this stage it is far from inevitable.
This comes as sources have also contributed to Rashford rejecting a £35m-a-year offer from the Saudi Pro League.
For perspective, that would double his current United wages, but he appears to prefer to remain in the context of Old Trafford rather than one of the standard-bearers in Saudi Arabia.
Fabrizio Romano lifts the lid on Man United’s Patrick Dorgu for the second time!
Monaco, Marseille, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and West Ham have all held talks with Rashford’s representatives, but so far no one has come close to agreeing a deal for him.
Dortmund, for example, expects Manchester United to cover half of his salary, while Milan are in talks with his representatives but the player has yet to respond to the offer.
Barcelona remain Marcus Rashford’s favorites
Rashford’s brother and manager want the player to go to Barcelona.
Barcelona’s sporting director Deco met with Rashford’s team to discuss a possible transfer and sources also understand that he has lowered his demands to encourage a move to the Spanish giants as an attractive option.
Ansu Fati and Eric Garcia are also available, although both want to stay at Barca despite lacking minutes.
With the clock ticking on the window, knowing that the current status quo may not change may be a kicker for them to accept their future elsewhere.
