More than 3,000 entries in for 2025 Dutch Open Darts with deadline incoming

Over 3,000 applications have already been received for 2025 Dutch open darts which will take place from January 30 to February 2, 2025 at Bonte Wever in Assen.

Registration is open until next week. January 15 is the deadline for those who want to take part in the largest darts tournament.

As for the cash prizes, they will be significantly increased and will total EUR 50,155, an increase of EUR 12,500 compared to last year. Another change is that registration is done via DartConnect via the usual route, making it easier for players.

Last year’s winners have not yet been able to return to defend their titles. At the end of the week, Beau Greaves plays for the British Q-School, where he automatically advances to the final stage. However, it looks like Jarno Bottenberg will also be in the final round and will likely play again today to decide if he takes that spot.

But despite this, the tournament will take place and over 3,000 players will be ready to play, which will be a typical symptom of the malaise of top talents ready to fight in the biggest darts tournament.
