MotoGP will return to Brazil in 2026 after agreeing a five-year deal with the Ayrton Senna circuit in Goiânia, the series announced on Thursday.
The circuit, located in west-central Brazil about 200 kilometers from Brasilia, hosted MotoGP from 1987-89 before the championship moved to São Paulo in 1992 and then to Rio de Janeiro from 1995 to 2004.
Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of MotoGP rights holder Dorna Sports, said: “This new agreement also provides an excellent opportunity for the sport and our manufacturers to expand in key markets. Chance.”
