January 5th – The Municipality of Split is preparing the process of reconstructing and renovating Croatia’s largest football venue Polyzud Stadium with the capacity of 33,987 seats.
The renewal work will be conducted periodically, the stadium will remain open and effective during the process, though with reducing power.
To start the reconstruction, the municipality of Split has launched a public collection for the primary phase contractor for renewal.
Tender Documentation is found on the website of the electronic public creation notice of the Republic of Croatia (EOJN) and the inauguration of the bid is scheduled on March 11, 2025.
The first phase will focus on current concrete and steel structures, roof reforms, replacement of stadium light network and setting up a modern sound system.
The selected contractor will prepare the project documentation, after the public purchase process is completed and then start the execution of the planned tasks.
The renewal process is expected to run over 31 months at a cost of $ 25 million.
