He was in court this week, however, it was not a common hard wood but a Brooklyn federal courthouse because the US Soccer/MLS vs. NASL trial entered the second week and was in the position of the Anthony witness.
Anthony, Puerto Rico FC was purchased in the North American Soccer League in 2015 and was called to testify in trial.
“I had the opportunity to revive the island, to bring sports to the island,” Anthony testified in court. “I chose this path to bring back something to my island.”
North America Soccer League (NASL) is hoping to prove that the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and Major League Soccer League (NASL) Division I and then Division II have conspired together to prevent MLS from competing. For the inevitable failure of the league.
By calling someone with Antony’s profile, who accidentally played for New York Nix, the NASL attorns hope that the NBA Great Stardist will affect the jury to see their suit favorable.

“I saw happiness, joy,” said Anthony. He describes how the club became a group behind the community. “That was when I knew I had something to do with something that was getting better.”
That joy was short -lived, though in September 2017, the team left for a stadium to play as a result of the Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. The team played some games in Florida, but they couldn’t set foot again. Island
Within this time the USSF 2018 rejected NASL’s application for the Category II approval for the season, forced the league to suspend its activities.
While in the stand, Kesha-An-Gray Gray, a represented by Major League Soccer, pointed to the previous statement of Antony, where Puerto Rico FC failed to return due to Hurricane Maria, but instead of denial of USSF approval.
Anthony’s testimony lasts about an hour. Before he took his position, former USSF president Sunil Gulat was questioned.
The trial is expected to last three weeks.
