According to Football Insider, Nottingham Forest are trying to sign Atalanta defender Ben Godfrey on loan Wolves have also added the former Everton man to their squad in the New Year.
The 26-year-old moved to Italy for £10m but could quickly return to England. He is keen to leave in January because he wants to play regularly, something his current employers are not doing.
Godfrey can play at centre-back or right-back and was praised back in 2020 Rio Ferdinand For his performances with the Merseyside Toffees.
