12 months ago, Odyssey introduced a new line of Ai-One putters, which, as the name suggests, were designed using AI technology and have performed very well among both professionals and amateur golfers.

Heading into 2025, Odyssey has once again updated the collection with a range of new Square 2 Square putters, featuring a center-shaft design that gives them a “shot balancer,” encouraging them to remain square throughout the golfer’s swing. This makes putters best suited for golfers who want to minimize face rotation when putting.
Using artificial intelligence, Ai-One putters feature contours on the aluminum underside of the insert that are co-molded with the White Hot Urethane surface. This is said to provide consistent ball speed across the entire face, along with the classic White Hot feel that has been so popular with Odyssey putters for decades.

The design centers the shaft in the plane of the putter’s center of gravity, resulting in the putters resting toes up in a reverse torque position, the opposite of a traditional toe-dangling putter. This is said to promote a square face throughout the stroke, and has gained popularity in recent years with models such as the LAB Golf and PXG’s Allan putter.
The forward shaft swing is 3.3, which places the hands in a forward pressing position, which helps eliminate the face opening that often occurs when golfers press forward on their own, which can lead to a push.

Square 2 Square putters will be available in Standard, Cruiser and Broomstick configurations, covering three of the most popular putting styles today.
Depending on head shape, you can choose from Odyssey’s Stroke Lab 90, 140 and 180g shafts, which provide the right weight and balance to complement the head weight and length of the putters offered.
The line features the same navy blue PVD finish as last year’s AI-One series for a premium look, while Jailbird models feature Odyssey’s classic Versa setting.

Standard length models come with an Oversize handle, Cruisers have a 17″ Oversize handle, and the Broomstick has a two-piece Broomstick handle.

Available in retail from November 29, the new Square 2 Square Putters will retail for £289 in the following models: Seven, Double Wide, Jailbird.
